Cure Your Headache in Ten Minutes with Pressure Points

First Minute

Massage your heads as if you are shampooing it. Pull the hair gently at the roots.


Second Minute

Place your thumbs at the base of your skull on the back of your neck roughly one inch from the spine in the hollow between two neck muscles. Tilt your head backwards to put pressure on those thumbs. Place your fingers on your temples for support.


Third Minute

Do a 'namaste' (salutation) and bend your head forwards so that your third eye (point where your eyebrows meet the bridge of the nose touches your fingers. Push your head forward so as to apply sustained pressure at the point of the third eye.


Fourth Minute

Use your right index figure and thumb to press into the hollow of eye socket near the bridge of the nose.


Fifth Minute

Bring your index and middle fingers under your cheek bones in line with the center of your eyes. Press these points for a minute. Bending your head forward helps you do this.


Sixth Minute

Place one of your index finger in the central hollow on your spine at the base of the skull and press hard, simultaneously pushing your head back.


Seventh Minute

Place your right thumb on the webbing between your thumb and index figure of your left hand and press hard angling towards the bone of your index figure.


Eighth Minute

Place your left thumb on the webbing between your thumb and index finger of your right hand and press hard angling towards the bone of your index finger.


Ninth Minute

Put pressure with your left heel on the top of right foot in the ridge between the big and the second toe.


Tenth Minute

Put pressure with your right heel on the top of your left in the ridge between the big and the second toe.
